This Canadian Health Informatics Award (CHIA) recognizes an individual's outstanding ongoing contributions as a thought leader, both nationally and internationally, to advance Canadian health informatics (HI) or Canadian telehealth.
Nominations are closed for 2015. COACH thanks all nominees and nominators.
Nominations must specifically address all the following criteria. Nominations must be complete; incomplete nominations will not be considered.
- The nominee's efforts have made a significant contribution to move the Canadian HI/telehealth agenda forward;
- The nominee's leadership is recognized within his/her jurisdiction or more broadly, often at the national level;
- This nominee's contribution are the result of his/her dedication and promotion of activities; and
- The nominee's leadership has made a significant contribution to or strongly influenced health outcomes or health system improvements.
This award is open to anyone in the HI or telehealth community in Canada. NOTE:
Past Leadership in the Field of HI Award winners and current members of the COACH Board of Directors and Awards Adjudication Committee are ineligible
for this award.
The 2015 award will be presented at the CHIA Gala
during the e-Health 2015 Conference in Toronto June 2, 2015.
